Westphalian riding and driving school (2005-2006)

In 2005 I started my apprenticeship as a rider with the focus on "classical riding training" at the Westphalian Riding and Driving School. Here I managed a solid and very structured entry into the professional life. At the Westphalian Riding and Driving School I got a very good theoretical insight into the subject of horses and management. During my time at the Westphalian Riding and Driving School I was able to complete all my training certifications. A further focus at the Westphalian Riding and Driving School was the division of instruction. So I learned early on how to best pass on knowledge to third parties and how it can best be understood. However, already in the first year of my training I realized that the relatively theoretical handling of the horse was not sufficient for me. I was interested in training horses myself and taking part actively in competitions.

Havixbeck, Ansgar Westrup (2006-2008)

On the beautiful premises of Ansgar Westrup in Havixbeck I had the opportunity to learn how to train mainly young horses. At that time there were dressage riders such as Helen Langehagenberg, Sebastian Heinze and Henrike Sommer at the facility, who are still highly successful today. Through the daily work in the same riding halls I was able to learn a lot and have benefited enormously from the professional interaction between rider and horse. At the time this was already an incentive to work in a similarly professional manner. During my time with Ansgar Westrup I completed my training as a horse trainer with the award "Stensbeck".

Michael Klimke (2008-2010)

After I finished my apprenticeship, I went to Michael Klimke's facility. Here I had the opportunity to not only train and promote talented young horses, but also to accompany horses on their way to the advanced classes or even to the Grand Prix sport. I also had the opportunity to be able to ride under Paul Stecken.

Dressage team Meyer (2010-today)

Since 2010 I support the dressage team Meyer in the training of their horses. During this time I was always ready to develop myself further. The Meyer family has made it possible for me to take part in clinics with some very successful trainers, such as Morten Thompson. In addition, Dr. Svenja Kämper-Meyer supports me in working with my own horses and also in training and promoting my training horses.

Self-employment

3/4 of my time I work independently on the premises of the riding and driving club Coesfeld. Here I have between 6 and 10 horses in the daily work. In addition to this, the work at the club is very important to me, as the future of riding is to be found there. The cooperation with the Riding and Driving Club Coesfeld is a very special one for me, because I find there are incomparable possibilities to live, train and teach. I hope to be useful to the Riding and Driving Club through the cooperation with my team. Besides the training and promotion of horses, teaching is also very important to me.
